Random Acts of Kindness: Porch Poinsettias

This year I’m trying to do a better job of giving and teaching my kids about giving and why we give.  I decided to come up with some random acts of kindness we could do throughout the Christmas season to try to spread the love of Jesus Christ to others who may already know him or who desperately need him.

Regardless of who it is, it is Biblical to give and I couldn’t think of a better time to do it then now.  One of the first acts of kindness we did was buy some poinsettias to deliver to people.  I wanted the gift to be anonymous so I decided we should sit the poinsettias on the front porch, ring the doorbell, and run away.  I enlisted our two neighbor boys, Ryan and Kyle, to help Rylan deliver the poinsettias.

Unfortunately, it was pretty cold the day we decided to deliver them.  Kyle was awesome because he went back to check and make sure the recipients had gotten their poinsettias.  We had to redeliver a couple of them.

Ry delivered the first poinsettia using his Jeep. What a cute little delivery boy!
