Winnie the Pooh Print

DECORATE.  SAVE MONEY.

So some may be surprised to know I did not redo the nursery for Emden.  I actually didn’t even do anything to it when the boys were born either.

When we moved into our house, an upstairs room was done in a vintage Pooh theme.  The bottom of the walls are painted a dark red and then there are sage and navy colors in the room too.  Although it wouldn’t be what I would have done given a blank slate, I thought it was done well and for the most part gender neutral.  Why ruin a good thing?

Anyway, I am just now getting around to filling up blank wall space in that room.  I wanted to put a Winnie the Pooh quote up but rather than spend a lot of money on some Winnie the Pooh art at a store, I decided to make my own in Photoshop.

I found a Winnie the Pooh quote I liked, typed it up, added some graphics, made it into a .jpeg file and then had it printed as an 11×14 photo.  It was an easy to make art piece that only cost me around $6.  It turned out great and I added in some butterflies to give a feminine touch to the room!
