It’s a Girl!

Well…that’s not new news since we found out we were having a girl a long time ago, but our baby girl is here, and that’s why I’ve gone several days without new postings. I apologize for that, but I’m finding that taking care of three little ones who are 4 and under is very time consuming.

Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t want to be spending my time doing anything else; I feel very blessed to be able to stay home with my three kids. I just thought I should give a heads up that there will be several days in the future where there will be no posts because I simply can’t do it all!

For those of you who don’t already know, we had our baby girl, Emden Lou, on March 15th at 12:07 PM and she miraculously came out with one big push! She weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long. Her big brothers shower her with kisses everyday and in exchange she showers us with lots of crying and little sleep.

Jeff and I are very thankful that lately she has at least started sleeping during the night and I just have to get up and feed her every three hours when she wakes up. At this point, we are all still in survival mode, but we are hanging in there! It helps that she’s so cute!
