Brady Recommends: Heated Mattress Pad

GET WARM.

Now that the cooler months are upon us, do you find you’re almost always cold?  Have trouble falling asleep at night because you’re cold? I have the perfect solution for you: the Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad!

The Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad has been one of the best things I have ever purchased.  A couple of years ago I decided to spend a large portion of my Christmas money on a Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad and I have never regretted it, not even for a second.

I used to take an hour to warm up before I could fall asleep.  Now I just turn on my warmer when I walk into our bedroom and it starts heating up while I get ready for bed.  The Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad usually takes 20 minutes to heat up and I don’t typically take that long to get ready for bed so sometimes it’s not quite as warm as I would like it to be, but it sure beats lying awake for an hour.  I have gotten so much more sleep because of this revolutionary invention.

One of the best features of the Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad is that it has dual controls which is a must for my husband and I because he is almost always hot and has to sleep with a fan blowing on him.  He used to have to forego the fan in the winter months because I was too cold, but now with the Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad, I don’t mind the cool air blowing on my face.

The Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad has 10 different heat settings that you just use a dial to choose which one you would like.  The pad gets put on over your mattress like a fitted sheet does and then you just put your sheets on top of it like you normally would.  Believe it or not, the Sunbeam Imperial Queen Heated Mattress Pad is also machine washable.  Who would’ve thought?

The mattress pads below all sell on Amazon for great prices.  Shipping is free since they’re over $25 and unless you live in the state that the product is being sold from, you don’t have to pay sales tax which will save you a couple of bucks.

Our dial is a little different than the one shown on Amazon but that's just because ours is an older model

The cords we hide under and behind the bed and the dial we just hang up. It can't even be seen once the bedding and pillows are on.

I really can’t say enough about this product and if you always seem to be cold, DO NOT WAIT any longer to get yourself a heated mattress pad.  You won’t regret it!  I will warn you though, not to leave your heater on through the night or you may have really strange dreams!

In case you missed this earlier this year or you just want a good laugh, here is a tip I have for staying warm .

What are your thoughts on heated mattress pads?  Love them?  Hate them?

Oh, yeah, Brady, I couldn’t be without my heated mattress pad in the winter time. Like the dual controls too because I always turn my own (and leave it on most of the night, at least on warm) but Jim rarely turns his side on…unless it is REALLY cold or he’s been out late checking cows and is chilled.
Yes, I agree with you whole-heartedly!

Just be sure that you do NOT use a heated mattress pad with an electric blanket! But I do prefer the heat from under me, rather than above.
