Organize Bath Toys in a Shoe Organizer

SAVE SPACE.

I thought I had a good system worked out for storing bath toys: a frog that sticks to the tub held his toys in the bathroom upstairs and I had two small bins to hold the bath toys in the downstairs bathroom.  Needless to say, as his bath toy collection grew, the tubs could no longer contain all their contents which got me to thinking…why not use a pocket shoe organizer to store all of his bath toys?  And so I did!

Now most of his bath toys are on the back of the closet in our upstairs bathroom.  We still keep some toys in the frog too.  So what do we do if he takes a bath downstairs?  We have an empty basket in the closet with handles that he can fill up with all the bath toys he wants.  The only rule is, he can only take what fits in the basket.  This is good practice for having to make decisions.  Then he brings down the toys he wants.  After the bath, we set the toys out to dry and once they’re dry he takes them back upstairs and puts them away all by himself!  Jeff and I got back some of our limited bathroom cabinet space and Rylan is learning how to take care of himself!  What more could you ask for?
