Quotation Canvas Creation

Have a space in your house that you’re just waiting to find the perfect item to fill it with? Mine was our newly painted dark brown wall that juts out into our living room.  It is the perfect place to display a work of art.  For months, I racked my brain to come up with something to put there.  I had decided I wanted to make it myself but the possibilities were endless.  First I was going to do a twig sculpture, then a tree painting, next a sunburst mirror.

Finally, I decided I wanted to create some type of print with a quote on it.  But what quote?  I wanted something that you couldn’t find in a store and one that had personal meaning to me.  I finally decided on a quote I fell in love with after watching the movie, Akeelah and the Bee. I found a good deal on canvas at Artscow.com and was giggling down to my toes when it arrived in the mail.

So, what do you think?

This was my second choice (of course I would’ve changed the colors around so the background would’ve been white and so forth but at this point I was planning on buying a white frame to put it in).

Which quote would you have gone with?

I was a bit disappointed after purchasing from Arts Cow as the product is actually shipped from Hong Kong and my credit card was charged an additional fee due to being international (without my knowledge). Did all your items ship from Hong Kong? I would rather purchase from American companies even if it costs more.
