So if you’ve been to a hotel in lets say, the past couple of years, you have noticed they have these cool curtain rods that curve out to give you more room when taking a shower. I have to admit when I first encountered one I thought it was a mistake or something, but then as I continued to see them, I realized it was the *new* thing. Well, I guess you could say we’re a part of the *new* trend now although it’s not really new anymore.
We put one of these bad boys up three months ago and have been loving it…so much so that I decided to blog about it! The inches of extra room in reality, feels like miles of open skies when you’re sudsing up…well, that may be a bit of a stretch. A hotel shower curtain rod adds a bit of luxury to any bathroom; just looking at it reminds me of a swanky hotel room, for a moment at least, until the washable crayon writings on the shower wall come into focus and I’m reminded that I’m standing in my own bathroom that seems to constantly be covered in a layer of my hair! You think I’d be bald by now! I know there are many ladies out there who can relate to me on this…but this is not where I was intending to go with this post.
Anyway, just wanted to say how much we love our new hotel shower curtain rod and give you a little peek at it in case you were thinking of jazzing up your bathroom anytime soon. The one above is just like the one we got except ours is brushed nickel…we actually wanted chrome though because it matches our hardware. Oh well… It sells at Wal-Mart for $36.96 and I’m sure you can find them elsewhere too. Don’t forget you can order on-line at Wal-Mart and have it shipped to a Wal-Mart location of your choosing for free!
